Ever start to make a card and realize that the pp and the solid card stock, go so well together that you are afraid that stamping will take away from the and rather than add to it?

I pulled out a piece of paper that actually was peaking out at me from a stack, it is yellow and a soft blue with a great design, found the perfect yellow to mat the pp on and then I  realized  that stamping really won't fit.

Actually at this stage, I am not sure what else to add to it.  Maybe i will take a picture and post it and see what you all suggest.

LOL, Ann! Can't say I've had your particulsr dilemma--regular Haveneers will understand... Grin

That said, however, I have run into sitches when I find myself being confronted with a whole new set of choices for a planned project--usually 'cause I find something that changes my thinking. Your case is a good example... Thanx for sharing!

Part of my approach to finding the 'new', depends on how much material I have--in your case the pp & CS. If I have just enough to make only version, I go with the idea that popped up! If there's enough to make more versions? That's when I go into really creative mode--using my wealth of accumlated techniques.

And... I ask myself the 'big' question... "How important is this project to me?" Wink

I don't think we should be afraid to just put a PP on a cardstock and call it done.  I do this sometimes, especially with wallpaper.  Sometimes it's just a pretty print and needs nothing else.  OWH always needs general cards and what could be more general than that?

Justmade a vintige card for a friend who likes that type of art.  I was looking in the altered art stamp drawer and figured it looked best as is.  No stamping.  So, I inked the edges...done....and....done!

I usually start with the stamp.  So I don't usually have this dilemma.  But as the creative genius behind your cards, you get to decide if the pp and cs make the perfect card as is.  Grin  Oh and I really like the card you made.
